Low Calorie Quick
Meal
A
bat of the eye & a shake of the hips & you've got one quick
meal! Begin by using ingredients that are as close to Mother Nature
as possible, such as follows:
Low Calorie
Quick Meal Menu
- Spinach
Salad - a combination of baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, and
sliced mushrooms served with a spoon of LIGHT dressing
-
- Skinny
Chicken in a Skillet - Spray non-stick pan with cooking
spray and add chicken tenders, then salt & pepper as
desired. Be sure to wash tenders before adding to pan. Cook
on SLOW heat allowing the chicken to caramelize as it cooks.
-
- Baked
Potato - Cook clean small-sized potatoes in microwave until
done. Serve with salt, pepper & a pat of butter.
-
- Dessert
- A small slice of sponge cake topped with fresh strawberries
and LIGHT whipped topping is always a hit.
-
- Beverage
- Skim milk OR water OR tea without sugar.
A
low calorie quick meal is only minutes away when the cook cozies
up to Mother Nature. To keep this quick meal on the skinnier side,
omit the baked potato and the sponge cake - but still enjoy the
strawberries & topping.
3
ounces of the chicken, a serving of the salad with 50-calorie dressing
and the strawberries and cream amount to about 300 calories. We
suggest chopping up the chicken and tossing it into the salad for
a tasty, low calorie quick meal mix.
