Looking for a list of foods that are low in calories? Almost all foods that reside on this list tend to be super foods - and foods that are closest to their natural state.
We certainly won't find fried mushrooms on our list - but as to freshly harvested mushroom still caked with Good Father Earth - oh yes indeed, those make our list.
As a tip for weight loss, combining several of the low calorie foods can create a tasty meal that's satisfying amid the weight loss process. We'll provide an example menu following the low calorie food list which you can use as a pattern to create more tasty, low calorie recipes for your daily menus.
To keep foods low in caloric values, avoid these additives: oil, margarine, butter and all regular (or whole milk-based) dairy products such as ice cream, sour cream and cream cheese.
Also avoid or heavily limit salad dressings that aren't reduced in fat content, fatty gravy which is generally cream-based, batters - such as flour and egg base, and desserts other than fresh fruit.
