If you have a small body frame your ideal weight may be:

114 pounds to 127 pounds

If you have a medium size body frame your ideal weight may be:

124 pounds to 138 pounds

If you have a large size body frame your ideal weight may be:

134 pounds to 151 pounds

Recommended Weight Ranges

If you are a woman that is 5' 4" in height you can weigh as little as 114 pounds and as much as 151 pounds and be in a healthy weight range.

Note that the ranges of weight are tiered and based on the size of the body's skeletal frame. Larger frames weigh more - and they are capable of holding more weight than the smaller frame.

When an excess amount of body fat is slowly loaded onto the body, the result can be damaging to the body frame. In the area of weight gain, if we don't listen, we may spend the later part of our days in a wheelchair - too heavy to move about freely because we overloaded our body with fat.

What if we were to suddenly put on 25 pounds? Fifty pounds? 100 or more pounds? Indeed, our body would snap.

How Many Daily Calories Do You Require?


114 - 127 pounds

Inactive individuals require about 1482 daily calories while the active lifestyle of an individual requires about 2159 calories.

124 - 138 pounds

Low active individuals require about 1612 calories daily while active individuals require about 2346 calories.

134 - 151 pounds

You may require as few as 1742 daily calories or as many as 2567 calories.
