Healthy Goodness, Orange We Lucky?

All decked out in 'orange in the rough'. Isn't she lovely, this medium-sized sweet potato of mine?

So divine, so saturnine - that she looks a bit lonely.

Perhaps I'll add a white cap on her little non-pumpkin head; yes, she's a beauty decked out in mini marshmallows, isn't she?

But wait, she may need some butter, cinnamon and maple syrup before I add that cap of toasty marshmallows.

And nuts - just a few nuts.

Talking about Diet Nuts!

Our healthy little Sweet Potato Princess has went from a sane 160 calories to about 400 calories.  She's certainly not a princess anymore. Perhaps a queen, even. And she suddenly looks so blown up! But not as blown up as I'm going to look once I enjoy this little sweet beauty.  

So....let's not. We've thought about it, and let's not.  Let's be Diet Good to our body.

Sweet Potato Dietary Makeover

yams, recipe ingredient  +  cinnamon, recipe ingredient  + butter, margarine recipe ingredient  + pecans, recipe ingredient

Let's take our beauty, poke her with a bit of 'Parkay' no calorie butter spray or reduced fat margarine, a dash of ground cinnamon and a few packets of Splenda.  

And maybe 1 pecan crumbled over the top.

Oh my, no taste lost amid the dietary makeover! No pounds to gain, either.

Yes, this orange in the rough fits right into my diet plan.
