Delicious Egg Nog Recipe by Diet Bites

Our tried and true recipe will have you decking the halls with Holiday Spirit while your weight scales create new sensations of Diet Joy.  

The following recipe generously serves one with a sip or two left for a nomadic reindeer.  But it's so good that you won't want to share.  

Diet Solution: Double the recipe.

Calorie Count: 1 cup contains 80 calories

Ingredients for Diet Holiday Egg Nog

diet eggnog recipe1 cup of ICE COLD skim or low fat  milk

1/4 teaspoon of rum extract (add or decrease to your personal taste)

Dash or two of ground cinnamon

Dash of ground nutmeg (only a dash will do)

SPLENDA or Nutrasweet (you decide how sweet)

Ingredients for Diet Holiday Egg Nog

Pour ice cold milk into a cold jar or container that has a lid.

Seal and shake vigorously for about fifteen seconds. Note that all your shaking about will contribute to a few calories burned, so you're not only making a delicious holiday nog, but you're burning extra calories as well.

Open jar and sprinkle in remaining ingredients. Reseal and shake about ten seconds or so.

Pour into a tall holiday glass and sprinkle with JUST AN ADDITIONAL DASH of nutmeg.

If you desire a more festive presentation, add a dollop of LIGHT whipped topping, then sprinkle with the nutmeg.
