to can the canned cranberries if you are dieting during the holiday
season. Try these fat free, low calorie recipes instead:
Create
a cranberry relish by dicing up cranberries and adding to other
chopped fruits. Or try the following diet wise recipe:
12 ounces of fresh cranberries
1 small can of unsweetened pineapple tidbits
1 package of sugar free strawberry OR cherry OR cranberry flavored
gelatin dissolved in 1 cup of boiling water
Cook
cranberries till they plump; remove. Add to gelatin.
Stir in pineapple; use all - even the juice. Add no
calorie sweetener to your personal taste. Chill until jelled.
