Exercise can be brutal, particularly for those individuals who don't like exercise. But exercise has been misrepresented over the ages and when we think about the word 'exercise' we generally envision sweat boxes containing Rambo's doing jumping jacks, dressed in black spandex.

But exercise can be ANY activity that raises the heart rate for a period of time.  It can be hiking, walking, playing sports - even shopping.  I've had some pretty good workouts parking at the end of a mall parking lot and walking into the building.


 

Rather than fear exercise, fear the risk of a shorter life due to inactivity.

We'll do our part by helping to keep you motivated to stay on track with your activity plan which should go hand-in-hand with your daily diet plan.
