Diet Article: Your formula for weight loss success.

The Wickedly Good Diet Plan contains 10 sets of questions that will help identify a personal formula for weight loss.

As previously mentioned, there are 10 Phases to weight loss in using this diet pan; therefore, these questions are focused towards each phase.

What you learn through these questions through your personal responses can become valuable keys to your weight loss success. We suggest that you grab a pencil and paper and jot down things that you wish to remember from your experience.

The answers to the 10 sets of questions can be helpful to the dieter and non-dieter alike. You may be surprised at what you learn about yourself, as well as simple tips and tricks that may save you a lot of pounds.

But of course, those unwanted pounds are only a portion of the Healthy Life Puzzle. Without good health, being thin isn't very important anymore. And if we lose our good health along our journey to weight loss, we've failed miserably and might have been better off foregoing a weight loss plan.

For example, let's take a look at Dieter Paul's weight loss dilemma. He was in need of losing 100 pounds - and yes, that's a big kahuna when it comes to the amount of weight that needs to be lost. I know - I was there myself going on two decades ago.

Paul's Diet Plan

Paul decides to crash diet; his daily menu looks something like this:

Breakfast Menu: 1 boiled egg, dry toast, water
Lunch Menu: this he will skip to encourage weight loss
Dinner Menu: 1 small can of tuna, dry toast, 1 grapefruit
Snack Times: no snacks for Paul

His total daily caloric intake equals about 450 calories, not enough for a gnat to survive upon, much less Paul. But he's tired of packing those 100 pounds and he wants them to go away as quickly as possible. Where's a good genie when one really needs one?

After two weeks on his wacky, unhealthy weight loss plan, Paul collapses at work. No, his boss didn't slap him for screwing-up the financial data at the Board meeting last evening, although all the directors left in a huff while Paul nibbled on a piece of dry toast with water.

Paul collapsed because his heart was strained and simply gave out. It took the medical responders ten minutes to revive him and he spent the next week in the hospital, half of that time in the intensive care unit hooked up to IV's and strange machines.

We're happy to report that after talking turkey with his doctor, Paul learned the importance of going on a weight loss plan that is doable - one that contains all of the vital nutrients required by his body. He went on to lose all the weight but his doctors are still unsure of the damage that was inflicted to his heart.

On that note, choose your diet menus well.

Plan ahead - don't go too low on the caloric content of your menus. If you do, you might end up at the hospital like Paul, or worse yet - six feet under. You'll certainly drop those unwanted pounds at this point.

In Summary: Use the questionnaires below to assist in planning your weight loss strategy. Discuss your diet plan with your doctor or nutritionist.

If your daily calorie values are too low you're not going to be able to ensure that you get your required vitamins which are necessary to process your weight loss results. You will also cause your metabolism to slow down as it attempts to preserve precious energy (calories).

It has no idea whatsoever that you're purposely trying to lose weight. It's assuming that there are no foods to harvest and that in order to survive, it must go into survival mode- using the slow mode to preserve life.

Finally, keep in mind that the following questionnaires as well as the weight loss phases are not set in stone. You should always rearrange and plan your weight loss plan based on your personal nutritional needs, as well as your personal schedule.
