Breakfast Menu - Warm Cereal, Milk & Whole Grain Toast

Today let's enjoy 1 serving of oatmeal (150 calories) or your favorite warm cereal plus 1/2 cup of skim milk (45 calories).

Add a spoon or two of white table sugar to the oats for sweetening power.

Enjoy 1 slice of whole grain toast (70 calories) put up to 30 calories worth of margarine.

Enjoy water or your choice of beverage using optional calories if needed.

Mid-Morning Snack - 1 plum OR 1 apricot


Lunch Menu - Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Cottage Cheese OR Yogurt

Enjoy 1 serving of deli ham (60 calories) between 2 slices of whole grain bread (70 calories each). Add 1 slice of cheese (60 calories), mustard, any variety of lettuce and tomato slices to the Ham & Cheese Sandwich.

Add 1 serving of cottage cheese or yogurt up to 130 calories and a 1 cup assortment of carrot sticks and celery sticks.

Dinner Menu - Chili, Cheese, Chips, Chopped Onion - Oh My! It's Corn Chip Pie!

Use low fat chili which contains no more than 250 calories per serving.

Heat thoroughly; add up to 60 calories worth of shredded cheese, 90 calories of corn chips OR crackers - and as many chopped onions as desired.

Evening or Bedtime Snack - 100 calories worth of popcorn.
