Strive to choose healthy snacks for your 100 additional calories - such as fresh fruit selections, jerky for protein as well as light low fat cottage cheese or reduced fat cheese along with a fruit or vegetable snack plate.

Breakfast Menu

Pancakes, Honey & skim milk.

We recommend using your favorite brand of prepared pancakes or hotcakes as calorie content is very accurate.

Enjoy up to 200 calories worth of pancakes, 100 calories worth of honey or syrup and 1/2 cup of skim milk.

Enjoy water or your choice of beverage using optional calories if needed.

Mid-Morning Snack

1 cup of fresh OR frozen strawberries

Lunch Menu

Spanish Rice With Cheesy Chicken & English Peas

We are a big fan of Uncle Ben's Spanish Rice. It only takes 90 seconds to prepare and is relatively low in calories and tastes superb. Each pouch contains about 2 servings.

Simply heat the pouch of Spanish Rice as directed and scoop out 1 serving into a microwaveable bowl. Add 1/2 cup of cooked lean deli chicken. Top with 1 slice of low fat cheese (60 calories). Return to microwave and heat thoroughly.

Add 1 serving of English Peas to your lunch menu - and you can enjoy the peas as a side dish or add them to your cheesy chicken rice.

Also enjoy water or your choice of beverage using optional calories if needed.

Mid-Afternoon Snack

Enjoy 1 cup of your favorite melon OR 1/2 a grapefruit.

Dinner Menu

Black Bean Tacos & Salsa

Purchase the prepared hard taco shells which contain about 50 calories each. Heat if desired. Fill all three with 1/3 cup of spicy black beans.

To prepare the spicy black beans, drain 1 can of black beans and heat on the stove top.

Add cilantro, chili powder and ground cumin to the black beans as they heat - and the amount of spices you add will depend upon how spicy you like your black beans.

Top black beans with the following salad mix: 2 cups of shredded lettuce of any variety, 1 chopped tomato, chopped onion if desired and up to 100 calories worth of low fat shredded cheese.

Enjoy with salsa. Also enjoy water or your choice of beverage using optional calories if needed.

Evening or Bedtime Snack

Enjoy 1 cup of your favorite melon OR the remaining 1/2 of grapefruit from the mid-morning snack.
