Guava Good for Diet Plan

One cup contains over four grams of protein. That's really surprising for fresh fruit.

This delicious fruit is cultivated in tropical as well as subtropical regions which include Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Strawberry Guava Variety

They are also available in the Strawberry variety. One cup contains 168 calories and an impressive 13.2 grams of dietary fiber.

Another variety is the lemon guava, also called the yellow-fruited cherry guava.

The most popular variety that is likely found at your local market is an 'apple guava'.
