Reducing Sodium & Fat Content

One of the things that we love about Taco Bell is that they have worked very diligently over the last few years in reducing the sodium and fat content of their entrees.

Some of the menus selections that we have followed over the last decade which used to contain significant amounts of Trans fat are now free of such.

In many selections, the sodium content has been slashed by more than one-half.

These aren't small changes; these are huge when it comes to promoting a better level of health for their customer base. It also means that their loyal customers may be around a bit longer due to increased life span because of these healthy changes.

What we like and don't like about this taco.

The Likes

As a note, the Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco isn't on the menu anymore at any of our local restaurants. It's probably a wiser choice than not as this fast food restaurant is moving towards a more healthful menu.

The Dislikes

There is too much cholesterol in the entree, which is perhaps one reason why it's not on the menu anymore at the Bell. In addition, you won't see many menu selections containing any registerable traces of Trans fats these days.
