My Weight Loss Plan is Just Ducky

Once upon a time, Jan went upon a plan in order to lose some unwanted layers of fat. They hadn't plastered onto her body overnight - or even amid the last month or two. They had been added one layer at a time - over a long period of time.

Jan had been at her recommended weight - on the low end when she was in early adulthood. After she married her best friend Ted, she started to pick up pounds. After all, they were both very happy and content and when folks are happy, they tend to associate happiness with food and the temptation is quite fierce.

And then Jan became pregnant with a set of twins. Shortly after they arrived, she became pregnant again - with yet another set of twins.

After they were born and her family had arrived at six rather than formerly being only two - her life was terribly busy, which was fine with Jan.

For one thing, it got her thoughts off of the tremendous amount of weight that she had gained amid her two pregnancies - over fifty unwanted pounds. Now she was over 80 pounds above her recommended weight.

By the time that mid-life arrived, she had went on countless diets - one that included excluding all meats excepting poultry and fish from her eating plan. Bummers, but the diet didn't work - nor did all of the others that she had attempted over time.

And now that she had reached middle age, it was becoming much more difficult to drop those unwanted pounds.

Facts of Losing Weight

Losing excess body fat is very difficult work, at best. Although Jan didn't achieve her dreams of losing by adapting to a 'no meat excepting poultry and fish' plan, these two proteins certainly can assist in dropping pounds because they are super low in caloric values.

As to duck, we have posted a nutrition fact chart below for your reference. While minimal in calories it does contain more cholesterol content than we'd like - and it has zero dietary fiber grams. But it's good dietary benefits certainly balance the negatives.

As to Jan, she never did manage to drop the unwanted weight - but unfortunately she gave up trying after she reached fifty years of age.

If her situation sounds familiar - please don't give up. Getting back to your recommended size is definitely achievable - no matter what your current size happens to be. It's important to remain focused and motivated - and you can accomplish all of your fitness goals.
