Heart Attack on a Tray

Oh my goodness, one can almost experience heart failure just by gawking at the nutritional data in this fast food entree.

And we must note that it's not entirely BK's fault; they try to meet the preferences of their customers and these days, there are a whole lot of them who are demanding more beef and more cheese on their burgers - thus the birth of this Double Whopper of epic proportions.

Fact is, when more animal proteins are added to any entree or recipe - the end result is going to always be additional fatty acid content.

These powerful foes can work together to create gunk in the arteries over time, thus strangulating the heart as the once-free avenues which transported life-saving blood become clogged.

And the types of fat contained within the daily diet are perhaps more important to our state of health than the caloric content of food. When energy intake exceeds energy output, the result is the storing of the excess in cells which over time, build to create layers of unwanted fat.

When saturated and Trans varieties are heavily input into the daily diet, even when energy values do not exceed energy expenditure, they have the ability to collect around vital organs, as well as in the abdominal area in particular.

In Summary

Look more closely at the menu; there are many more healthier selections - and if you can't decide, ask for a nutrition guide from your server.
