Turkey in the Rye Sandwich Recipe

How long has it been since you enjoyed a sandwich prepared with whole rye bread? And there are so many varieties at the market that you can choose; you'll have a regular field day in deciding if you want to purchase the Russian, New York or Jewish variety.

For this delicious sandwich recipe, you can use any variety that you wish. We're going to make use of another ingredient which goes wonderfully well with the lean turkey breast - and it's so holiday-ish. We're going to add cranberry sauce to our gourmet sandwich - and if you wish, you can even use the reduced sugar version.

You will need these ingredients:

Slices of Lean Deli Turkey
1 Tablespoon of Whole Cranberry Sauce
2 Slices of any Variety of Rye Bread
Several Leaves of Lettuce, Tomato Slices
Reduced Fat Margarine

Spread the bread with the margarine and toast using your favorite method. Spread on the cranberry sauce, then add the remaining ingredients.

This recipe makes wonderful use of leftovers amid the holiday season - or during any time of the year and is very minimal in fat gram content.
