You can instantly look thinner by doing any of the following:
- Dark colors create an aura of thinness. Avoid
light colors if at all possible.
- White hose - a definite NO NO. Opt for darker hose or hosiery that matches your skin tone.
- If you can't button, fasten, or zip your garment, go up
one size. Girding up a garment will only serve to create bulges.
- Avoid clinging fabrics and velvet. They tend to add
pounds.
- Avoid bulky fashion gear, including furry objects,
ruffles, fluffy fluffs, puffy sleeves, balloon legs, and fuzzy
creations.
- Chunky shoes will add pounds to your legs.
- Make sure hemlines are even and not lopsided.
- Leave horizontal fabrics for the Hamburgler.
- Solids work best - and remember to go 'dark'.
