Diet Recipe for Cheesy Chicken
Our recipe for Cheesy Chicken creates a gourmet-type meal in a flash!
When dieting or not, it's a great idea to keep a bag of skinless chicken breast in the freezer.
They are wonderful when it comes to preparing quick, tasty meals - from homemade chicken soup to our Cheesy Chicken recipe.
Cheesy Chicken- a lower calorie recipe for weight loss.
One large chicken breast makes two ample servings.
The following is a recipe for two and you will need the following ingredients:
1 large skinless, thawed chicken breast with the visible fat removed - cut into two pieces
Cook chicken in a non-stick pan using cooking spray until golden on both sides. Remove and top with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Top each with shredded cheese and serve piping hot.
Enjoy 1 serving of Cheesy Chicken, 1 cup of green beans, 1/2 cup of rice (serve beneath the Cheesy Chicken if desired) and 1 slice of whole grain bread.
Stuffed Chicken Breasts for Dieters, Recipe Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, skin removed, washed thoroughly with visible fat also removed
How to Prepare Our Diet Stuffed Chicken Breasts
Simple stuff the chicken breasts with the cheese and bacon as depicted in our recipe picture. Sprinkle the top with parsley, salt, and pepper as desired.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until the chicken breasts are fully done. Our oven requires about 30 to 40 minutes.
Chicken goes exceptionally well with both cheese and bacon and when these flavors are combined - wow!
