Ingredients for this lower calorie Ziti recipe:
1 box of ziti OR your favorite type of pasta*
1 jar or can of your favorite spaghetti sauce (600 calories)
1 bag of low fat shredded mozzarella cheese (800 calories)
Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
*The box of pasta that we used in our recipe contained enough servings to feed six people. The total amount of calories for the box was 1,200 calories.
How to Prepare Our Pretty Ziti Recipe
Simply combine the pasta with the sauce and transfer to a baking pan.
Top with the shredded low fat mozzarella cheese and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven until golden brown. Makes 8 very generous servings for about 325 calories each.
Top with grated Parmesan Cheese if desired. Be sure to enjoy a side salad with light dressing and a slice of crusty bread.
