Saving Calories - Having Your Cake & Eating it Too!

There are tons of charts that depict a specific food, then offer an alternative suggestion to help the dieter save fat and calories.  However, there are times when only the real-deal will do when it comes to favorite foods.  When you're really craving devil's food cake, an angel in disguise just isn't going to solve the diet dilemma.

Keeping this in mind, we've created a chart that contains popular foods and alternative suggestions for that food.  So perhaps we CAN have our cake and eat it too!

Diet Tip: Whenever we're watching our calorie intake to encourage weight loss, it's a good idea to start out small, then build from there.  We can always go back and add a bit more food if we don't feel satisfied - and that's a lot better feeling than cramming in the back-forty, then feeling miserable about our diet because we just ate too much.
