Diet Menu 13 - Wise Budget Menus

Diet Recipe Ingredients:
 
2 beef cutlets
egg noodles
1/2 cup of diced onions
1/4 cup of diced bell pepper
sour cream
milk
salt, pepper
 
Spring Salad:
spinach
tomatoes
cucumber
grated cheese
salad dressing

Beef Stroganoff & Spring Salad Diet Recipe

Place cubed cutlets into a thick pot and cook until bottom of pan forms a golden brown color. Quickly add onions and bell pepper. Stir.

Add 3 cups of egg noodles - which cook in a short time so they will need to be monitored. Add just enough water to cover the egg noodles. Salt and pepper if desired.

Once noodles cook, add 1/4-1/2 cup of skim milk and stir. Add 1 small container of sour cream.

Serve with a side salad of raw spinach, diced tomatoes and cucumber - and just a splash of salad dressing.

Adding a few walnuts and dried cranberries to the salad really livens things up, particularly nutritional value.

Health Note: Spinach is a documented super food.
