  • When preparing french bread, brush with healthy olive oil rather than butter, then pop in the oven until golden brown.
  • Use favorite recipes and reduce serving sizes rather than tinkering with treasured recipe.
  • Reach for the Red!  Red sauces generally contain less calories than white sauces.
  • Be sure to measure out pasta as it can be deceptive.
  • Opt for no calorie butter spray rather than butter or margarine.
  • When recipe calls for cheese, opt for skimmed versions when possible.
  • Packing grilled or roasted veggies into the recipe adds less calories than packing in more cheese.
  • When it comes to pizza, reach for the thin crust.
