Pancakes are perfect any time of day!  And there are so many different ways to prepare them - from neat little fold-overs, to syrup-topped wonders.  But if we're not careful, those calories can really add up - particularly when some brands of syrup contain 240 calories per 2 Tablespoons.

The solutions for lower calorie pancakes are very simple and take minimal time.

Measure out batter to ensure that you're eating the recommended serving size;

Opt for no calorie butter spray;

Opt for LIGHT syrup OR sugar free syrup and be sure to measure OR better yet, opt for fresh fruit as a pancake topping and a little light whipped topping, if desired.

Be sure to cook pancakes with cooking spray rather than using oil to save even more calories.
