Breakfast is the most unpopular meal on the planet and even those who partake in the early bird meal sometimes grab the worm rather than the apple. In my experience, most overweight individuals don't like breakfast. In fact, I used to detest breakfast. I was a 'Give me a Diet Cola' person. Breakfast has helped me maintain my slim shape over the years and helps keeps my blood sugar levels in control. And I find that I can think clearer when I enjoy a healthy breakfast. Breakfast does present opportunity for higher calorie foods and additives to creep onto the plate - like syrup and butter on pancakes and waffles.
