The low fat, low calorie original recipe from Diet Bites Caveman Diet Plan

These recipes are original Diet Cookie creations created in our very humble kitchen.

Grab a glass of cold skimmed or fat free milk for these diet-friendly treasure that will almost melt in your mouth.

We shaped our cookie dough to form bears: 1 round about the size of a large marble, then a tiny round to form the feet, paws, ears, eyes and muzzle.

A cookie cutter also works well, but you'll need to dip the cutter in a dab of flour or spray with non-stick cooking spray before cutting out your Masterpieces.

Ingredients

1 cup of sifted flour
dash of salt
1/2 teaspoon of sifted baking soda
1/4 cup of solid vegetable shortening
1/4 cup of mashed banana
1 cup of Splenda
1 teaspoon of Real Vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 egg OR use egg substitute if watching cholesterol (will also cut calories)

Mix wet ingredients with shortening and banana; add in spices, then slowly add flour as last ingredient. Add more flour if necessary to form a pliable dough. Shape and bake at 350 degrees until cookies are set. Remove and allow cookies to cool. The entire batch contains about 850 calories.

For the other cookie recipes, they will be formed in the same manner as this recipe. They will also be baked at the same temperature. Always mix the wet ingredients with the dry just as directed in our first recipe.
