We have two different methods:

#1 - Roast franks on stove top using cooking spray if necessary. Place into warm hot dog bun. Top with drained black beans that have been mixed with 40 calories worth of queso OR shredded cheese. Add other hotdog fixings if desired, or top with Black Bean Chili for a robust treat.

#2 - Begin by opting for light franks when grocery shopping. Simply slice franks and cook on the stove top until golden brown.

Add 1/2 jar of queso (found in the chip section and contains 40 calories per serving) plus 1 can of drained and rinsed black beans.

Serve on top of prepared rice. Delicious and who needs mustard or buns?
