Chief to Diet Elements.....  Anyone home?

Before heading on the Diet Warpath, it's vital to get all your Diet Elements in sync by having a Diet Powwow.

Diet Elements:  The Diet Elements consist of all the things necessary to achieve weight loss success.

- Diet Menu
- Activity/Exercise

- Relaxation

- Mind & Spirit

A diet plan that consists solely of a diet menu is a half-cocked weight loss plan.

However, when all four Diet Elements collide, what we have is one great plan for weight loss!

A great diet menu is going to naturally generate weight loss.  Add some FUN activity, and we've increased our amount of weight loss by 'exercising' a little effort.

Next, by embracing relaxation, we give our bodies time to rest and come into balance with our weight loss efforts.  Some studies even suggest that exercising every other day is actually more productive than hitting the bricks day in, day out.

And finally, by utilizing our mind and spirit we exercise stress from our lives.

So if you find that your diet just isn't flowing smoothly, stop and have a Diet Powwow to ensure that all of your Diet Elements are in sync.  Some questions that may help include:

Is your daily diet menu healthy?  Are you inviting a couple of healthy snacks into your daily diet plan?

Is exercise on the weekly agenda - a minimum of three times?  Does each activity period get the heart rate increased?  Are you sweating?  Are you puffing and huffing?  Are you exercising too harshly?  Too wimpy?

Are you taking time to relax?  To meditate?  To simply veg-out?

By making a few adjustment in your weight loss plan, you'll soon be doing a Weight Loss Victory Dance!
