Fat or Curvy? An Important FYI For the Ladies
by Sky Taylor, Diet Bites
Do you often find yourself peering into the mirror and saying out loud, "I'm so fat!"? If this rings true, it's time that we had a Diet Heart-to-Heart chat.
The way that we feel about things in life has much to do with what things are named OR called. For instance, Mary and Bob recently bought a very tiny house.
Rather than calling the tiny house a tiny house, the realtor that sold them the house perked their interest by calling it a 'Charming Cottage'. And who doesn't want to live in a charming cottage? Even though Mary and Bob feel a bit cramped, they still love their charming cottage.
Take the following for more examples:

So you might be asking, "Where is this going?"
The way that we perceive ourselves has a big impact on the way that we feel, our rate of success and our level of self-esteem. Although those pesky pounds can increase health risks - so can the stress related to those pesky pounds.
So the next time that you find yourself standing in front of a mirror - please don't bash yourself by placing a 'Fat' label on yourself. Instead, look into the mirror and say, "I'm so curvy!"
Feeling positive about yourself may actually increase your life span, your joy of life and make you feel good about yourself. And who doesn't want that?
