Free 30 Day Diet Plan - Just in time to help you get in shape for the summer!

Free 3 Day Diet Plan - Drop those pesky pounds with the natural goodness of fruit.

Packed with sweet flavor, fiber and healthy vitamins that your body needs, fruit delivers. It's filling, it can also help a dieter manage those sweet cravings which tend to be ultra high in calories and fat which in turn, contributes or supports weight gain.

What Should I Weigh? - One of the first things that a pre-dieter should do is jot down a goal weight number. But all too often, they jot down a number that is far too small, making the weight loss process even more agonizing. It's the old saying, "Dream - and dream big." Here's our savvy tip that will assist in keeping you on track while losing weight, as well as our recommended goal weight charts for dieters.

Hunger Warning - Fall Triggers Natural Instinct to Fatten-Up For Winter

An original article from Diet Bites - thinking outside of the Diet Box

Before the modern age of agriculture, man had a difficult time during those cold, winter months. Lucky for him, the body's quite smart - very instinctive and prepared him for those months ahead - when food would be scarce, and a bit more body fat might make the difference between survival and death.

As technology advanced - our instinct for survival remained the same. Even today, if one pauses to take notice - when fall arrives, appetite kicks in.

It's not the cooler weather that stokes the appetite to life, rather instinct - preparing the body for the cold weather ahead, attempting to fatten it up to increase the odds for survival. The body's instinct is clueless to the advancement of modern man - that food is readily available year-round.

So if you've been feeling a case of the hungries more often than usual over the last few days - you'll need to do some fancy footwork where your daily diet is concerned in order to avoid weight gain.

Foods filled with fiber can help curb appetite. A few of our favorites which work terrifically include: beans (shelled), pumpkin - just in time for fall, too; winter squash, nuts & seeds (careful as they are high in calories).

Foods containing fat can help curb appetite. And of course, you'll want to opt for the healthier food sources of fat - which are fats found 'naturally' in foods rather than added during the cooking process. Nuts are a great example of a healthy source of fat. For cooking needs, we suggest extra virgin olive oil - cold pressed.

Low calorie and zero calorie beverages can help quell appetite. When the hungries hit, try enjoying a cup of hot tea, a cup of low calorie cocoa, or a bit of dissolved 10 calorie per serving gelatin.

Cleaning the palate can help curb appetite. Try a good brushing or a stick of gum which also works in keeping the mouth occupied for a minimal of calories.

Take advantage of the cooler weather to enjoy activity. Outside of keeping calories in balance, what better way to keep weight gain away than exercise?

Raking or collecting leaves, skating, even shopping for a pumpkin can burn extra calories. Or make a scarecrow. What fun!

And the great thing about exercise is that it not only burns calories, it strengthens the body and helps to curb appetite.
