The Night Owl Dieter
Diet, Weight Loss & Personality Factors
Unfortunately, this is one of the more dangerous Diet Personality types.
The Night Owl Dieter is generally engrossed in the following activities: reading, writing, homework, television viewing, playing cards, phone chatting, Internet surfing, movie-going and video game playing.
Although the Night Owl Dieter’s mind is occupied, their body is bored and restless, therefore, they seek out other modes that satisfy. That satisfaction generally comes in the form of food – and not healthy food – foods like pizza, nachos, hot buttered popcorn, sugary soft drinks, and even alcohol. Spirits are extremely high in calories, and too many can wreck both health and life.
This type of dieting personality generally finds no need of a dining table. Sure, their house most assuredly contains one - but they never use it unless it's a special holiday or mother comes for a visit.
All food and drink is typically enjoyed amid their favorite activity. They may play a video game while drinking a few sodas and munching on chips. The jeans tend to come in handy for cleaning off the grease and salt from the chips so that the control won't get injured.
They almost never enjoy watching television or a movie without a bowl of hot buttered popcorn and a few sodas, or a well-made pizza.
Because the Night Owl Dieter enjoys the night hours best, and functions best at this time of day, there are few outdoor activities that can be enjoyed. It’s hard to play golf in the dark at midnight. Even bowling alleys tend to shut down as the sun sinks into the Western horizon.
Dieting Solutions & Tips for the Night Owl Dieter:
POOL! For activity, play pool as in billiards or pool, as in swimming pool. These are great late night activities for the Night Owl Dieter.
Take a moonlit walk but only if you can do such in a safe area. Better yet, try to get in that walk before the sun sets.
Opting for foods which are low in calories will help keep weight from shooting over the moon.
Let's examine a few calories and nutrition facts contained in the foods most adored by the Night Owl Dieter, starting with butter flavored popcorn prepared in the microwave and that has been made with palm oil. Next, we'll do a nutritional comparison for butter flavored popcorn prepared with partially hydrogenated oil.
Next, we'll take a look at nachos.
