Horseradish - Culinary Uses, Herbal Medicine Uses, Herbal Household Uses

Horseradish is a very pungent herb favored for its medicinal and culinary attributes.

The flavoring powers of the Horseradish are to be found in its roots which are rich in oil.

The root is grated, thus releasing the flavorful oil - which fades very quickly, therefore horseradish is not desirable in dishes requiring heat.horseradish
