Chocolate Strawberry Cake for Dieters
This
very simple recipe renders gourmet-like
results. Simply prepare a box of chocolate
cake mix and pour into two round cake pans.
Bake as instructed on box.
Allow
cakes to cool then spread on a thin layer
of whipped topping - any variety from vanilla
to chocolate. Next, invert large strawberries
(be sure to wash and de-stem before adding
to cake). Drizzle with a bit of chocolate
syrup OR dust with powder sugar. Makes two
beautiful cakes for chocolate lovers!
To
calculate calories, check calories on cake
box label. Strawberries contain about 45
calories per cup - so measure out the strawberries
before you top the cakes. Add in any toppings
you used then divide the number of slices
into the total calorie amount to determine
calories for individual slices.
