Scarecrow
Fashion - Losing Weight Can Be Scary
Stuck with
clothing that you've shrunk out of? Losing weight can
be a scary thing with our fun Scarecrow Project!
If you have
clothing that is too worn to donate, and that has too
many holes to use for painting projects, then those
former 'fat clothes' might find a home in your backyard.
Making a
scarecrow to enjoy through the fall holidays can be
fun and add a special warmness to the holidays.
Use your
imagination in creating your scarecrow. Use straw
(or hay from the feed store) for stuffing. You'll
also need a pole to hang your scarecrow on.
Invite family
members to help out. Kids will particularly enjoy
this project. You may even wish to plan an informal family
party around the scarecrow making event. Whip
up a bunch of punch - sugar free punch, that is. Toast
a few marshmallows, if possible in the backyard. Marshmallows
are very low in calories - about 20 calories for a large
marshmallow, and it takes a while to eat.
If you have
a fall garden, your scarecrow can make a stunning centerpiece.
And it can also make a wonderful conversation
piece.
Your friends
will be amazed to see how much smaller you are than
the old you - the new scarecrow, that is!
