Taco Bueno Calories

Menu Choices for Dieters?
There are a few good calorie-savvy choices for dieters who dine at Taco Buenos but take note that these selections are based solely on caloric content - not on dietary fat, types of fat, cholesterol content or sodium overload.
Taco Bueno is a fun spot to eat on the old fast-food map and the food is pretty good for quick Mexican food with generous portions, which is of course, both a positive and a negative.
It's positive because one gets more food for their money, yet negative when one is trying to trim on portion size in order to lose excess body fat. And most menu selections do not work well as leftover.
Challenging to Estimate Calories Because Some Selections Which are Typically Trim in Values are Actually Quite Steep
Some menu selections tend to hold more calories than even an experienced calorie-counter might estimate.
Such is the case with the Chicken Quesadilla which contains a whopping 761 calories. The beefy version of this tasty quesadilla weighs in at 823 calories, and the cheese version at 709 calories.
Our suggestion: Share with a friend OR go mini with the Mini Cheese Quesadilla for 274 calories - or order the kid's version for a skinny 219 kcals.
Another menu selection - the beloved Mexidips & Chips contains 1086 calories - enough to make a grown dieter cry. I know; here's a tissue.
As to King of Calories - it's the Mucho Nachos which hold mucho calories.
Making the Best Choices Based on Kcals
Let's use our calorie chart below for the menu selections to make our choices.
The selections that you should avoid are obvious - and they will make your weight loss plan tilt in the wrong direction - or should we say, more specifically - your bathroom scales.
Tacos, Party Burrito Choices
The Two-Handed Taco is a cool name and the calories are fair, too. The Party Burrito is another good choice based on caloric content. It's hard to go wrong with a Chicken Crispy Taco. While tacos are a good caloric purchase, the taco salads are stinko.
Don't even think about following the bunny into this garden because this bunny is straight out of Wonderland. He's not the same variety as the little bunnies who offer healthy leafy green and orange goodies that are mined with vitamins and minerals.
This bunny is hopping around in a very unhealthy garden filled with fatty beef, fatty cheese and other food objects that aren't going to fit into any healthy weight loss plan.
Again, think tacos and burritos. If you're feeling in a rice or refried bean mood, have another taco instead or enjoy one or the other with a lower calorie menu selection such as the Chicken Taquito or the Chicken Taco.
