Best Burrito Selections for Dieters

Bean Burrito:The classy, simple - yet rather tasty Bean Burrito contains 370 calories, 11 total fat grams, 4 saturated fat grams, 5 cholesterol mgs, 960 mgs of salt, 56 carbohydrate grams and 13 protein grams.

The Bean Burrito is very filling due to its protein content as well as its impressive 9 grams of dietary fiber. If you opt to order the Bean Burrito Fresco Style you can save 20 calories with the total at 350.

Chicken Supreme Burrito: This menu selection contains tasty lean chicken along with that classic flour tortilla shell. It will cost 400 calories, 12 total fat grams, 5 saturated fat grams, 40 cholesterol mgs, 1,050 mgs of salt, 52 carbohydrate grams, 7 dietary fiber grams and 20 protein grams.

Best Taco Selections Based on Caloric Values

These are one of your best selections while you're dieting. Most are low in caloric content and are very filling. Order two of the lower calorie tacos or order one and a side of rice or beans and cheese. As a note, all of the taco selections, including the Double Decker contain 350 calories or less.

Best Chalupa Selections Based on Caloric Values

We're going to note three of  the Chalupas from the menu because all are very good caloric purchases for the dieter.

As protein sources go, the chicken version is the best choice. The ground beef is going to be naturally higher in dietary fat content and lower in protein grams than the chicken which is a leaner cut of meat.

Chicken Chalupa Supreme: 350 calories, 18 total fat grams, 4 saturated fat grams, 35 cholesterol mgs, 520 mgs of salt, 29 carbohydrate grams, 3 dietary fiber grams and 17 protein grams.

Beef Chalupa Supreme: 370 calories - as expected because ground beef is fattier than the steak or chicken. It also contains 21 total fat grams, 5 saturated fat grams, 30 cholesterol mgs, 570 mgs of salt, 31 carbohydrate grams, 4 dietary fiber grams and 13 protein grams.

Best Nacho Selection Based on Caloric Values

Be sure to watch how often you enjoy nachos - no matter where you purchase or make them (home or outside the home). They consist hugely of carbohydrate grams and cheese sauce.
