animal_022.gifWhatever the case, weight loss can be unpredictable - much like the March winds. And to squeeze the best results from a diet plan, it pays to be an aggressive dieter - a lionish dieter.

While sipping soup and nibbling on salads might appear a weak approach to weight loss, soup and salad are bulwarks when it comes to bullying-down the numbers on the weight scales. Soup and salad can make your diet roar - as can these stellar food choices which will calm a growling tummy for a minimum of calories:

Jerky: Whether your food-leather is turkey jerky, beef jerky or mysterious jerky, protein adds a huge roar to weight loss. That bag of ruby-red strawberries, as well as those sexy-looking peach slices were frozen at the height of their freshness. Enjoy frozen or thawed in the microwave. Add any of the following to 'dolly-up' frozen fruits: dash of light whipped topping, a spoon of brown sugar,a dash of cinnamon or a shot of your favorite extract.

Quickie Grilled Cheese: When you're craving a food-quickie that's more than a simple snack AND when that craving involves cheese, make this low fat grilled cheese in mere seconds. Calorie count: 180. You will need:

2 slices of 60-calorie bread
1 slice of mozzarella cheese (60 calories)
Parkay Butter Spray (0 calories)

Simply spray one side of each of the breads, place the cheese in the middle and then toast using any method you prefer.

Frozen Fruit Smoothie: Got a blender? A mixer? If so, simply blend your favorite frozen fruit with a cup of skim milk; add a bit of Splenda or a spoon of sugar to sweeten (if needed) and a shot of extract.
