Caloric Values, Single Serving

If the meat and bones are removed from a small sized chicken neck, the caloric values equal about 32 kcals before it goes through the cooking process.

When the neck is larger (ours below is at 50 grams) and is roasted with the skin and bones in place, the caloric values ramp up rapidly to almost 150 kcals.

Health & Nutrition Notes for Chicken Necks

Whether the chicken neck is little or large, there really isn't much meat thereon - much like the leg or drumstick area of the bird.

That small amount of meat contains over 13 grams of total fat, zero dietary fiber and zero Vitamin C content. So these are the negatives.

Now for the positives. This selection contains a splash of calcium, iron and magnesium benefits, it's low in sodium content and hold some impressive numbers where phosphorus, zinc and potassium are concerned.
