There are so many different directions that we can take the humble, beautiful carrot. Here are just a few that can be incorporated into a healthy weight loss plan:
1. Enjoyed in its natural state for snack or meal time.
2. In shredded form if we add a dollop of light salad dressing and a few golden raisins, we'll have a light, delicious carrot and raisin salad.
3. Cut the carrot into 'coins' and add to soup - or cut into bigger chunks for hearty stews. You can also use baby carrots.
