Holidays, socials, family get-together, after-work parties - it is extremely difficult to avoid alcohol in this day and age.  

Since you may incorporate Specialty Spirit drinks into your life every now and then, this calorie index might be beneficial in allowing for those extra calories so that you keep your weight on track.  

The calories are for ONE DRINK as generally served in public.

Alcohol is addictive so that's the first strike against it.  The second strike is the high calorie content.

It is also one of the leading causes of unintentional manslaughter.  It's also very harsh on liver health. A woman who consumes 1-3 alcoholic drinks per day puts her a high risk for liver disease, at times irreversible.

We must all make sure that our 'bottoms up' remains in the glass.
