Counting Calories in Cheese

Written by Diet Bites

Those individuals who are sensitive to tyramine should avoid the following types of cheese: Cheshire, Colby, Edam, Feta, Fontina, Gouda, Gruyere, Limburger, Monterey Jack, Muenster, Parmesan, Provolone, Roquefort and Swiss.

Most all full-blown cheese (prepared with whole milk) is high in saturated fat; while dieting your better choices include the lower or reduced fat varieties.
