Low Fat Recipe Ingredients
2 Medium Sized Baked Potatoes, Skinned & Mashed
½ Cup of skim Milk
1 Small Hen Egg
½ Cup of Flour

Traveler's Bread Recipe
Low Fat Recipe Ingredients
1 ½ Cups of Water
1 Package of Active Dry Yeast
3 ½ Cups of Bread Flour
1 ½ Teaspoons of Salt
1 ½ Tablespoon Sugar
Toss all Low Fat Recipe Ingredients in ye old bread machine & allow time to reach baking cycle. Thy can either allow bread to continue baking for thy machine’s recommended time, or remove &pop into thy giant big-rumped oven.

If thy choose to follow this cookery trail, preheat oven to 350 degrees & bake the Traveler’s Bread till golden brown – about 30 minutes.
Whatever cooking method thy use, when bread ‘tis done, remove & brush with honey. Sprinkle on a bit of dryed oats. Allow to wax cold before cutting with bread knife.
For an added treat, separate & bake in individual dishes. Cut a hole in cooled bread to form a well. Fill with thy favorite reduced fat cream of chicken, cream of asparagus, cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup. Reduced fat cheese soup may’st also be used. Recipe contains about 1,450 calories.
Velveteen Biscuits Recipe
Low Fat Recipe Ingredients
2 Cups of White Faire Flour
1 Tablespoon of REAL Sugar
1 Heaping Tablespoon Baking Powder
½ Teaspoon of Baking Soda
½ Teaspoon of Salt
2 Tablespoons Margarine
¾ Cup skim Milk
1 Teaspoon White Distilled Vinegar
1 Teaspoon of Active Dry Yeast
Sprinkle yeast in ¼ cup of very warm water & add ½ teaspoon of sugar. Allow to stand five minutes. Mixture wilt be foamy like the village dog’s lips after he’s bitten into a wayward frog.
Combine flour, rest of sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder & then cut in margarine till dough mirrors appearance of cornmeal.
In separate bowl, add vinegar to milk & stir to make buttermilk. Add to foamy yeast mixture. Next, make a well in the midst of thy flour mixture & pour into it, the buttermilk &yeast mixture.
Gently stir till combined. Cover with plastic wrap & allow to rest in a warm spot in thy trusty kitchen. The dough wilt not rise during this short time, so don’t get thy bones in a tizzy for naught.
Roll un-risen dough out on lightly floured board into large rectangle &cut with biscuit cutter. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven till golden, about 12-15 minutes.
Enjoy piping hot with a shot of no calorie butter spray from thy refrigerator. Biscuits can be sealed & reheated. Recipe makes 1 dozen biscuits for about 90 calories each.
