A Lower Calorie Eggnog Bread Recipe for Dieters

This holiday bread is a quick bread rather than a yeast-type bread. Be sure to use only light/low fat eggnog or calories and fat will shoot straight out of Santa's chimney.

Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately, then add together. Pour into a baking dish sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 45 minutes - or until toothpick inserted into center removes clean. Store in fridge allow Eggnog Bread to cool completely before wrapping for storage.

1 Cup of Light/Low Fat Eggnog

1 Cup of Splenda

2 Egg's Worth of Egg Substitute

1 Tablespoon of Rum Extract

1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract

1/4 Teaspoon of Ground Nutmeg

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

1 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder

1/2 Cup of Applesauce
