Tuna Salad With Grapes & Bacon Recipe

Grapes that are quite sweet compliment the flavor of crispy-cooked bacon. In turn, bacon compliments the flavor of albacore tuna.

You will need the following ingredients:

1 small can of drained albacore tuna packed in spring water
1-2 Tablespoons of Miracle Whip Light
dash of dill weed
dash of lemon juice
1/2 cup of seedless Thompson grapes cut in half
2 strips of crispy bacon that has been crumbled

How to Prepare This Recipe

Simply combine all of the ingredients to create a delicious light salad that is packed with protein and unique flavors.

Serve on whole grain toasted bread or in a whole grain kangaroo pocket.

You will need the following ingredients:

3/4 cup of 100% purple, red or white Grape Juice
1/2 cup of Seltzer Water [contains zero calories]

Dieting Tips for Grapes

1. Use a flat baking sheet that will withstand the temperature of the freezer.

Place a sheet of wax paper on the pan. Line it with green seedless grapes and place into the freezer until frozen solid.

This is a very refreshing and low calorie treat for the summer months of the year. If the grapes tend to be on the sour side, try rolling into a bit of sugar.
