Low Calorie Recipes for Dieters

Outdoor Fitness Offers Many Healthy Rewards
Camping is something that you can do with your entire family - whether you want to keep the trip centralized to your immediate family, or branch out and invite all the cousins.
Another perk is that most natural areas which offer camping also have trails to explore. And for every step that you take, you're burning more calories than when sitting on your keester.
This health article will kick off one of our new series where we shared some tips for healthy campfire meals. There are so many different things to prepare other than traditional hot dogs - simple, healthy options.
Let's get to cooking, shall we?
Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, Low Calorie Style
If you don't like the commercially prepared sauces which contain meat, opt for a marinara or for one that is vegetable based. This is our choice - the one packed with mushrooms.
If you opt to use whole grain pasta, you'll be adding another layer of health benefits, but frankly speaking....we don't like the flavor of wheat-based pasta. It just tastes funny. We do like the noodles prepared with spinach and that's also a healthy option.
Keep in mind that if you're not enjoying your 'healthy' food choice - and if you'd really enjoy something else that's not ultra healthy, then go with the one that you like.
The happiness that occurs when you're eating will add more benefits than if you'd eaten the other choice. Happiness equals the release of those wonderful endorphins that keep the body moving smoothly right along.
The Recipe Ingredients
They are minimal because when you go camping you don't want to have to pack everything, including the kitchen sink.
The Ingredient Recipe List
1 packet of spaghetti
1 large can of your favorite marinara or spaghetti sauce
Parmesan cheese, found in the dried noodle section at the market
Boil the water, cook the spaghetti until tender and add the sauce.
Sprinkle with the Parmesan if desired. For dessert - you should have room for Smores.
